Obit:
Nora Dale May, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away February 26, 2017, at a local care facility at age 97. Nora was born October 16, 1919, in De Kalb, TX to Howard Mitchell and Alta Alexander Hackney.
She was a homemaker and a member of Wards Creek Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman E. "Pete" May; a daughter, Elaine May; and a grandson, Christopher Scott Miller.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Wards Creek Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas. Interment will follow at Wards Creek Cemetery.
