Son of Ephraim Edmon Sharp and Melissa Evelyn Saffell Sharp.
He served in the Army, Company H Second Group Replacement Training Center. He was a Cook. He received and Honorable Discharge. He was always called C O Sharp
He married Ruby Lee Whinery 22 Jul 1925 in Hereford, Deaf Smith County, Texas. She was was born 29 May 1902 in Scurry County, Texas and died 19 Nov 1955 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
Cornelius and Ruby had 4 children, Ephraim William Sharp,
Vida Medesia Sharp, Hiram Cornelius "Junior" Sharp and
Charles Leroy Sharp. Only one reached adulthood, Ephraim William Sharp. Ruby died in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas and was brought back to Claude, Texas to be buried in the Claude Cemetery, Claude, Gray County, Texas with their three children.
Cornelius remarried Mary Anna Wall 9 Nov 1947 in San Antonio,-they had no children. Cornelius preached at San Antonio and Corsicana, Navarro County, Texas and many other places. His whole life was given to the ministry of Christ.

Walls is her first husband's surname. Have not found her actual last name.

He was my father's older brother. His first wife can be found on the Texasgravestones site in Claude Cemetery in Gray County.
