Pioneer Eula Woman Dead CLYDE, Aug. 9 1946.-Mrs. Emma Dillard, 89, of Eula, died at 12:45 a.m. today it her home, having been unconscious since suffered a stroke of paralysis while visiting in California June 17. Mrs. Dillard was under hospital treatment for two weeks, but removed to her home in the community before her death. Born July 20, 1861, in Mississippi, Mississippi, Mrs. Dillard was married to R. A. Dillard in Arkansas in He died in 1936. Mrs. Dillard moved to Callahan county in 1895 and had lived at Eula since that time. Funeral will be held at 5 p. Saturday at the Eula Methodist church. The Rev. Harry Johnson, of Clyde, will officiate. Patterson funeral home will direct burial in a local cemetery. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Miller of Eula; two sons, Bob Dillard of Holtville. Calif., and John Dillard of Big Spring; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
