Obit:
Winnie Russell Favor, 92 of Abilene and formerly of Eula, died Friday at a local care center.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Eula Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Favor was born September 12, 1914 in Buckholts, Texas to Charlie and Etta (Durham) Russell. She moved to Callahan at an early age. She attended schools in Lone Oak and Eula. She was the widow of R.D. "Dick" Favor, Jr., whom she married on September 27, 1930 in Clovis, NM. She was a lifelong resident of Callahan County. Mrs. Favor was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Eula.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Favor and wife Beth of Clyde and Joe Favor and wife Terry of San Angelo; two sisters, Evelyn Cranfill and husband Garland of Abilene and Peggy Allen and husband John of Eula; one brother, Rayburne Russell and wife Rose of San Antonio; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, R.T. Favor and Buck Favor and two grandchildren.
