Charles Henry Ranne, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday at the Eula Cemetery under the direction of Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Elmwood Funeral Home.
Charlie was born in Brady on August 28, 1929 the son of Joseph Ranne and Ola Laura Beasley Ranne. He retired from Merchant Motor Freight and was a farmer and rancher in Callahan County. He was a member of the HWY 36 Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Faye LeMay Ranne of Clyde and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lois Faye LeMay Ranne, 86, of Eula, died Monday, October 21, 2013 in Abilene, following a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 25th in the Eula Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 HWY 277 South.
Lois was born on July 27, 1927 in Abilene and was a lifelong resident of the Elmdale and Eula communities.
Her husband Charles Henry Ranne, her parents, Homer Richard LeMay and Ida Ruth Greenway LeMay, one sister, Ruth Lucille LeMay Foster preceded her in death.
Survivors include one brother, Larry Richard LeMay of Eula and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
