Marcia Banks, age 68, of Wake Village, Texas, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 in a Texarkana, Texas nursing home.
Mrs. Banks was born September 28, 1949 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She was a retired certified nurses aide and a homemaker. Marcia enjoyed the company of her favorite companions, Gracie, Josey and Kiwi. She was a animal lover and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, of twenty four years, Michael Wayne Banks of Wake Village Texas, two sons, Shaun Michael White and his wife, Tracie of Shreveport, Louisiana, Christopher Banks and his wife Yuliya of Richmond, Texas, three daughters, Sheila White Smith of Wake Village, Texas, Stephanie Martin Harris and her husband Cody of Wake Village, Texas, Kelli Banks Anderson and her wife, K. J. of Tacoma, Washington, three sisters, Jan Richardson and her wife, Jan Elkins of Shreveport, Louisiana, Debbie Hill and her husband Don of Bossier City, Louisiana, Melissa Nycum and her husband, Matt of Bossier City, Louisiana, one brother, Mike Richardson and his husband, Geno Mendiola of Germany, four grandchildren, Jake White, Sydney Smith, Raven Sims, Brandon Banks, and one great grandson, Hayze Maddox, and a host of friends and nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and a number of other relatives.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
