After Acute Renal Failure, Jerri Lynn went Home to be with her Heavenly Father on November 15, 2014 to spend her Eternal Life with her loved ones that had gone before her.
Jerri was born in Shreveport, LA. on February 7, 1957 to James D. and Vera Sue Flournoy. At an early age Jerri moved with her family to New Boston where both her parents taught school.
In 1977 Jerri meet the love of her life John W. Adair, Jr. while attending Texarkana College, and majoring in Criminal Justice. In 1978 she followed John to Longview where he served 25 years with The City of Longview Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant.
Jerri and John were married April 26, 1978 on his Mother"s Birthday. Jerri worked as an Optician for many years while her boys were in school. She was a volunteer with Spring Hill Jr. High for six years as a Teachers Aid. She was a member of the LPD Policeman"s wife"s club, Athletic Boosters Club, the Band Boosters Club, and served as 4th Vice-President for the Band Booster Club and a Bus Sponsor for the Band.
Jerri is survived by her husband, John W. Adair, Jr., two sons and their wives, Johnny W. Adair, III and wife Rayma, of Hallsville, Andrew James Adair and wife Christy of Ft. Worth, two grandsons Colton Adair and Jacob Adair of Hallsville; brother Tim and wife Teresa of Kilgore, sister Debra Flournoy of New Boston; brother Rusty Flournoy and his wife Lillian of New Boston and her loving pet dogs Grace and Susie and her cat Dotty.
Cremation Services will be handled by Croley Funeral Home Gilmer, Texas.
