ROCHESTER — Weldon W. Hardy, 88, of Rochester, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at the Haskell Health Care Center.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at the Clyde Cemetery with the Rev. Katherine Byrd officiating, directed by Mansell-Smith Funeral Home of Knox City.
Mr. Hardy was born in Merkel and had lived most of his life in Haskell County. He was a carpenter by trade and received two Bronze Stars during the Army enlistment. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, in 1979 and married Jewell Little.
