Born in Farmers Branch, Dallas County, Texas. At about age 16 Andy came to Jack County as a cowboy, and started his own ranch in what was then Sebree (now Vineyard). made him one of the original recorded land owners in Jack county. Andy's favorite cow pony Sour Doc was found dead shortly after Andy died.

Andy's father Cleve Myers is believed to have started the first dipping vat in Jack County. Andy played a huge role in getting the railroad to come to Vineyard, and even built the first shipping pens there.

1 February 1875 - 25 July 1939 m.1 January 1892
When two thirsty travelers stopped at a well on the Willow Point Road, little did the young boy and his widowed father know their lives would change forever. There at that well A J Myers met Mary Stanley, the woman who would become his wife, life mate and the mother of his children.
I have not been able to find out much about Molly, prior to her marriage to A J, but I believe Mr Myers found an exceptional jewel in this young lady.
