Mrs. Georgia Elizabeth (Jo) Thacker, age 87, of New Boston, Texas, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at her residence.
Mrs. Thacker was born December 30, 1925, at Hagansport, Texas, and had lived at New Boston for most of her life.
She was a Homemaker and was retired from the New Boston Nursing Center. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bassett, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin Anderson Thacker, her parents, Charlie and Emma Clark Perkins, two sisters, Frances Partridge and Emma Birdwell, and one brother, Buck Perkins.
Survivors include three sisters, Darlene Breton, Cathy McKenzie and Joyce Linex; one brother, Charles Perkins; one special nephew and caregiver, Michael Lybarger and a number of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the Sand Hill Baptist Church, Sims, Texas.
Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
