Graveside services for Mr. Bobby Johnson, Sr., 74, of Omaha, were Monday, March 10, 2003, at Concord Cemetery with the Rev. Lanny Peek officiating. Mr. Johnson was born January 15, 1929 in Tyler. He died Sunday, March 9, 2003 in Titus Regional Medical Center, Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was a retired employee of Lone Star Steel, was a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a member of the David Elliott Lodge in Omaha, had worked for TSL. Steel Company and was a longtime resident of Omaha. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Johnson of Omaha; two sons, Bobby Johnson of Omaha and Mike Johnson of Naples; one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Neal Hill of Gilmer; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Johnson, 73, of Omaha, were May 7, 2008 at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Elrod officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born May 26, 1934, in Cookville. She died May 4, 2008 in an Omaha nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby H. Johnson, Sr.; parents, Leslie Bruon Talley and Myrtle Mae Deaton and grandson Bobby Ace Hill. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Harold Johnson, Jr. of Omaha and Michael Lynn Johnson of Naples; a daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Neal Hill of Gilmer; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
