Clauddean Stevens Cook was born April 24, 1916 in Morris County, Texas to Charlie and Hettie (Morris) Stevens. She died on April 29, 2012 at her home of 66 years in Mt. Pleasant. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Albert L. Cook of 59 years, her brother Morris and an infant great-grandson Robin Cook. Graveside services were 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Concord Cemetery, Omaha, Morris County. The family received friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2nd at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice. Clauddean's brother Morris and his wife Oma were witnesses when they were married by a JP in Mt. Pleasant on April 18, 1936. They remained married for 59 years until Abb's death in 1995. Clauddean is survived by son Steve Cook and his wife Margaret, grandchildren Stephen Cook and his wife Mercedes, Karen Cook and Susie Cook, all of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Bede Cook and numerous nieces ad nephews and their families. (Row 3 SW)
