Ann Selma (Davis) Brock, 68, a child of God left this world peacefully on May 3, 2013 to join her parents George E. Davis and Grace L. (Tallent) Davis with eight brothers and sisters preceding her, and one brother Roy Roland Davis living in Minneola Texas.

William “Bill” E. Brock, 80, of Denton, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home in Denton.

Mr. Brock was born on October 20, 1938, in Phoenix, AZ to Glen W. and Nina Grace (Shippy) Brock. He was married to Ann Davis on April 8, 1961, in Denton; she died on May 3, 2013. He was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church and worked as an electrician for many years. He served in the United States Air Force and the Army Reserves.

Bill is survived by daughters, Billie Ann Perez of Denton, Karen Sue Rodriguez of Denton, Mary Alyce McFarland of Greenback, TN, Sereniti Nicole Brock of Denton; son, Tracy Alan Brock of Springfield, IL; sisters, Roberta West of Abingdon, IL, Frances Thurman of Abingdon, IL; brother, Harvey C. Brock of Rock Island, IL; 21grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Brock, Cecil Brock, Melvin Brock.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 28, 2019, at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at New Hope Cemetery, Burns City, TX.

DENTON, Texas - William "Bill" E. Brock, 80, of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at his home in Denton.
Bill was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Glen W. and Nina G. (Shippy) Brock.
He served in the United States Air Force and the Army Reserves. He operated a service station in Monmouth. Later he owned a neon sign business in Galesburg for many years. He then moved to Denton, Texas, where he worked as an electrician.
He was a member of Gateway United Baptist Church in Denton.
Bill is survived by four daughters, Billie Ann Perez, Karen Sue Rodriguez and Sereniti Nicole Brock, all of Denton, Texas, and Mary Alyce McFarland of Greenback, Tennessee; one son, Tracy Alan Brock of Springfield, Illinois; two sisters, Roberta N. (Lloyd G. ) West and Frances (Don) Thurman of Abingdon; one brother, Harvey C. Brock of Rock Island, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Joe and Cecil Brock of Abingdon, and Melvin Brock of Neelyville, Missouri.
A visitation was held on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Mulkey-Bowles Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, Texas. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Burns City, Texas.

Ann, "Baby Ann" as she was called till she was grown, was born on Oct. 2,1944 in Dallas, TX. Two years later her family then moved to Channing, TX where she lived 10 years. They then moved to Krum, TX. Four years later moved to Denison, TX. In 1958 Ann met William E. Brock and they married on April 8, 1961. They proceeded to live in Denison after their marriage. They moved to Denton, TX in 1963 and in 1970 they moved to Galesburg Ill. In 1978 they relocated back to Denton.

Ann is survived by her husband Bill, their five children: Billie Ann (Brock) Perez, Karen Sue (Brock) Rodriguez, Tracy Alan Brock, Sereniti N. Brock, and Mary A. (Ballard) McFarland. Ann is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Ann is a member of Gateway United Baptist Church.

Visitation is set from 6-8 PM Monday May 6, 2013 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Gateway Baptist Church in Denton, Texas. She will be buried at New Hope Cemetery in Burns City, TX with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
