Billie Nell Berry, age 90, of Naples, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in Daingerfield, Texas. Nell was born August 5, 1928 in Naples to Robert R. Berry and Steedie Wood Berry. Nell retired from the United States Air Force where she was a Senior Master Sergeant. Nell loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed working in her yard, camping, or anything else outdoors. She also enjoyed watching sports.
Nell was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Jim Berry, Carrol Berry, and Robert Leslie Berry. Survivors include three nephews and their wives, Joe and Angela Berry of Naples, Allen and Stormie Berry of Longview, Texas, and Rob and Betsy Berry of Jacksonville, Florida; five nieces, Nancy Ogilvie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Greta Berry of Albuquerque, Linda Sears of Las Vegas, Nevada, Cindy Valverde of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Martha Morgan of New Orleans, Louisiana; numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel in Naples with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Omaha.
