Services for Robbie L. Bradley of Gainesville are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville with Dr. Eddie Chennault, pastor of Temple Baptist, Pastor K.W. Blake of West Side Baptist Church of Lewisville, and Rev. Frank Lorne, pastor of Corinth Baptist Church of Gainesville, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Bradley died May 28, 2006, at her home in Gainesville.

She was born in Caldwell to Charlie and Sedalia B. Hodrick. On Nov. 29, 1963, she married L.E. Bradley in Marietta, Okla. She worked as a radio announcer in Tyler and a County Demonstration agent in Fort Worth. She taught home economics, math and reading in Gainesville until retiring in 1991. After retiring, she served as a member of the Advisory Board for Child Protective Services, member of Family and Consumer Science Committee, Minority Representative with Texoma Council of Government, member of Educational Excellence Committee, board member of Gainesville Housing Authority, board of directors for AARP, vice president on Advisory Board for Friends of the Family, Retired Senior Volunteer Advisory Board, Sight Based Decision Making Team, and as Sunday School superintendent for Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was involved in the doctoral program for Multi-Cultural Education at N.T.S.U. and was nominated for Poet of the Year in 2000 and 2001. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Roby Mitchell, M.D., of Amarillo, Dr. Patrick Bradley of Corinth, Ernest Bradley of Denton and Benny E. Mitchell Jr. of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Portia Whitfield of Dallas; seven grandchildren; sisters, Dr. Ollie Ritchey of San Diego, Calif., Stella Warren of Tunis, Cora Strait of Pomona, Calif., and Catherine Jones of Houston; and brothers, Clyde Hodrick of Houston and Richard Hodrick of Tunis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.E. Bradley; parents, Charlie and Sedalia Hodrick; daughter, Edith Corlene Mitchell; brothers, Clarence and Freddie B. Hodrick; and sister, Eva Warren.
