Note from family regarding: Oleta Rosson Livingston

The 1930 U.S. Census shows Oleta's last name as "Rooson", the seven year old daughter of Lee Livingston and Letha Livingston. Lee Livingston is not her birth father.

In Texas Marriages 1837-1973 there are two marriages for Letha. The marriage records show that D. R. "Rasson" and Letha Green were married on 13 January 1922 and that Letha "Rasson" married Lee Livingston on 23 November 1927.

The 1930 U.S. Census further shows Lee Livingston was 36 when he FIRST got married to Letha. Therefore Lee Livingston is Oleta's step-father. Although she goes by Livingston, she was born of her mother's first marriage to D.R. Rosson (Findagrave has him as Rosson, etc.)

TWINS!!!

The 1930 U.S. Census also shows Oleta, who is seven years old, was born in about 1923. The record Texas Deaths, 1890-1976 shows the child "Cleta" Rosson (the correct spelling of last name) is actually a SISTER who died 02 October 1922 and with the same parents, D. Rosson and Letha Green, having been born the same day as Oleta.

As mentioned, the 1930 U.S. Census shows Oleta as seven years old in 1930. Texas Birth Index 1903-1997 shows Oleta Rosson, like her twin sister Cleta was also born 13 July 1922!

(Note: There are two birthdates for Cleta Rosson that have been extracted, b. 15 July 1922 d. 02 October 1922 (Texas Death 1890-1976) and b. 13 July 1922 (Texas Birth Index 1903-1997), so one of them is obviously incorrect.)
