Mary J Lee was born on May 8, 1861, in Alabama. She married JAKOB BORN (Barnes-Barns) and they had 12 children together. She then married J. B. Moore in 1923 in Wilbarger, Texas. She died on December 26, 1924, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 63, and was buried in Fargo, Texas.
Very little is known about Mary. Family history has always been that she was adopted. She lived in the South. She was full blooded Irish. She met Jacob Barns, married him, and moved to Texas.
