Jennie Lucille McLaughlin was born on September 2, 1901, in Madison, Alabama. She married Charles Albert Brians on December 3, 1919, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had four children during their marriage. She died as a young mother on May 25, 1931, in Roaring Springs, Texas, at the age of 29.
