Brother of Earnest Harold, Lora "Pearl", Lena Myrl, Wilma Irene, John Hardeman and Joe Sanders.
Grandson of John B Sanders & Mary I Lena Purvis and William Hardeman Locklin & Prescilla Ellison.

SANDERS, Edgar S. of Taylor. Age 57. Died 11/1976 (Friday) (in paper 12/2/76). He had been in the VA Hospital, Temple, since 7/27/1976. Services held (Sunday) in the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in Locklin Cemetery near San Gabriel. Rev. Bill Service, Lexington, officiated.
He was BORN in 3/27/1919 in Thorndale, son of Edgar & Cora Locklin Sanders. Member of Christian Church, Thorndale; Veteran of WW-2, serving in the Navy on submarines. Lived in Taylor for the past 2 years. Preceded in death were 2 brothers and a sister.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Joe Sanders of Horseheads, NY.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Myrl Campbell of San Antonio; Mrs. Wilma Organ of Thorndale.
