RITES HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. SANDERS
Funeral services for Mrs. J. M. Sanders, 89, were held Saturday at Marek - Burns Funeral Home and burial was in Walkers Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders died in Cross Plains Thursday. She was born Sept. 11, 1873 in Davellie, Ala. She was preceeded in death by her husband, J. M. Sanders in February 1944 and one son, Woodson Sanders in January 1962.
Surviving are three sons, Grover Sanders of Cross Plains, Hobart Sanders of Fairfax, Ala., and Pat Sanders of Cameron; three daughters,Mrs. George Simmons of Belton, Mrs. Don Applain of Cross Plains and Mrs. Marvin Johns of Pecos, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Thomas Sanders, Charles Sanders, Billy Sanders, Jack Jones, Gene Addington and Allen Schiller.
