When Hattie Lee Irby was born on November 30, 1891, in Texas, her father, Christopher, was 32, and her mother, Martha, was 25. She married Homer Tracy Alexander on May 28, 1911, in Stonewall, Texas. She died on April 28, 1926, in her hometown at the age of 34, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
