Anna Sue Rash Deal, age 77, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday December 21, 2017 graveside in the Double Mountain Cemetery under the care and direction of Giles McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Deal, of Aspermont TX, Daughter Angie Rice Sigmon and son-in-law Scott Sigmon, of Aspermont TX, Step Daughter Lynn Arnold, of Villa Rica GA granddaughters Georgia Faye Underwood of Carrollton GA, Kayla Elizabeth Sigmon of Big Spring TX, grandsons Luke Arnold of Douglasville GA and Joshua Thomas Sigmon of Big Spring TX, 2 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. She is also survived by sister-in-law Wanna Rash, of Peacock TX and 3 nephews Jeffery Rash of Swenson TX, Jerry Rash of Huntsville TX and Joe H. Rash III (Joe-Joe) of Peacock TX.
Anna Sue was born, in Aspermont Texas, to Joe H. Rash Sr. and Georgia Boyles Rash, of Peacock, on November 12, 1940. She had two older brothers, Jeff Ned Rash “Fudge” and Joe H. Rash Jr. All of which preceded her in death. “Sue”, as everyone called her, attended Peacock school. She left Texas, in her early 20's, and moved to Georgia, where she married, and had her only child, Angie, and became a stay at home mother, and housewife. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a funny, woman who loved life. She loved bluegrass music, shopping, especially home shopping, purses and shoes. In her early years, she worked in various nursing homes as a nurses aid. She married her loving husband, Larry Deal, on May 8th, 1982. They eventually moved back to Aspermont, where she resided until her passing.
She will be dearly missed by her family, and friends, who all loved her tremendously.
