Keener, as Owen was called with love and respect, and Lenna were not to have a son to carry on Owen's name; however, they had five beautiful daughters to carry on his and Lenons's bloodline, and their honor.
Because of the lack of space, I can not write all that was said of these two in my History of Jack County, Texas book. It was all very good, and encouraging.
I will briefly touch on their lives. Both of them were known for their hard work, honesty, integrity and their devout Christianity. They raised five strong daughters who all displated the same attributes.
This writer feels that these two should have a much grander stone to mark their passings; but alas the truly great ones need no grand markers, for the lives they lived have kept them alive in the hearts of all who knew them. Their lives are the grandest marker anyone could want.
