JACKSBORO - Leonard Elmer Cozart, 82, a retired service station owner, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at a Jacksboro nursing center.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Mound Freewill Baptist Church in Buffalo Springs in Clay County. Burial: Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Leonard Cozart was born Oct. 30, 1918, in Buffalo Springs.
He was a member of the Pleasant Mound Freewill Baptist Church, Blue Grove Masonic Lodge and veteran of the Army.
He was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Cozart.
Survivors: Wife, Lorene Campbell of Jacksboro; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Lelia Vene Cozart; sisters, Lillian White, Lucille Reeder, Lora Dixon; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
