Donna Burnett Autry, 47, of Plainview, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. in Double Mountain Cemetery near Peacock, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
Donna was born March 13, 1964 to Cled and Shirley Swearingen in Rotan, Texas. She grew up in Jayton and in Plainview. Donna graduated from Plainview High School. She attended South Plains College to become a licensed vocational nurse. She worked at Plainview Health Care, Running Water Draw Care Center, and Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Donna is survived by her husband Loyd Autry of Plainview, TX; two daughters, Tracie Garret of Plainview, TX, and Landa LeClear and husband Casey of Clovis, NM; two step-sons, Bo and Chance Autry of Plainview, TX; her mother, Shirley Swearingen of Jayton, TX; one brother, Rick Swearingen & wife Belinda of Plainview, TX; one sister, Dian Jenkins & husband Buster of Plainview, TX; and four grandchildren, Trey & Paul Garret, and Shane & C.J. LeClear.
Donna is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Swearingen; her grandparents, A.G. and Edna Parker.
