When Rebecca Rose Large was born on May 28, 1866, her father, William, was 24, and her mother, Dora, was 11. She married William Wesley Kluting on October 1, 1884, in Grayson, Texas. They had 13 children in 28 years. She died on February 28, 1936, in Stonewall, Texas, at the age of 69, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
