When Charles King "Boy" "Uncle Charlie" Cox was born on December 15, 1916, in Elm Mott, Texas, his father, George, was 34 and his mother, Emma, was 37. He had one son with Ola Fay Cox in 1945. He died on February 13, 1992, in Lubbock, Texas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Peacock, Texas.
