Pettersen, Nelly Maria Missana Nelly Maria Missana Pettersen was born in Valeriano, Italia on June 5, 1947 to Rudolpho and Odelia Missana. Nelly went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband and true love of 40 years, John Peter Pettersen, two sons, Alexander Derrick and John Bryan and his wife Ami. She had one granddaughter, Emma Paige that always brought her joy and happiness. Nelly was a very talented person that enjoyed knitting, sewing, crafting, and cooking. She spent many years as a member of the Italian Club of Dallas as a folk dancer and honoring her heritage as an Italian. She was dearly loved and wi]l be truly missed by all as she was a very giving and friendly woman. Family will receive friends from 2PM to 6PM on April 3, 2011 at Wood. Sunday viewing: 2pm-4:45pm, Family viewing 5pm-6pm. Funeral Rome in. Carrollton, TX. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, TX. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Wood Funeral Home, 1835 Pearl Street, Carroll-ton, TX 75006.
