Manuela Benavides Garcia was born on October 12, 1925, in San Vicente, México, Mexico. She married Guadalupe "Lupito" Jimenez Hernandez on April 17, 1943. They had two children during their marriage. She died on August 23, 2005, in Springtown, Texas, at the age of 79, and was buried in Carrollton, Texas.
