When William Bryant (Bryant) Todd was born on September 17, 1897, in Tulia, Texas, his father, John, was 30 and his mother, Virginia, was 22. He married Myrtle Clyde Bryant and they had three children together. He then married Margaret Venita Glover on May 27, 1927, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He died on October 13, 1956, in Olney, Texas, at the age of 59, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.

When Margaret Venita Glover was born on February 2, 1911, in Dodd City, Texas, her father, Charles, was 26, and her mother, Georgia, was 22. She married William Bryant "Shorty" Todd on May 7, 1927, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She then married Joseph Daniel Beard on December 17, 1960, in Loving, Texas. She died on July 5, 1991, in Tarrant, Texas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
