Funeral services for “C.R.” Banman, 78, of Seminole will be conducted Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the New Creation Praise Center located at 621 US Hwy 385 North (Seagraves Hwy) Seminole with Pastor John Penner officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. He passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Seminole.
C.R. was born January 27, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Peter and Katharina Banman. C.R. and Margaret Peters were married in 1964 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was an owner-operator truck driver, was attending the New Creation Praise Center, and he loved rodeos and dancing.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters, and a daughter-in-law.
C.R. is survived by his wife Margaret Banman of Seminole; four sons Henry Banman, Pete Banman, John Banman, and Frank Banman, all of Seminole; one daughter Tina Hughes of Lubbock; two brothers Henry Banman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Franz Banman of Mexico; two sisters Nettie Friesen of Aylmer, Canada and Helena Banman of Mexico; along with eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
