Mrs. Evie Scott Boldstein, died Monday afternoon in a Temple, Texas hospital after an illness of several days.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sullian Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Benny Kilgo, assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church, offficiating. Interment will be in the Wilbarger Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bildstein was born Dec. 28, 1907, in Oklahoma as Evie Swanson, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Swanson and moved to Electra as a child. She married Frank Scott Sept. 23, 1930 in Frederick, Okla. He preceded her in death Aug. 23, 1958. She later married Joe Bildstein Aril 28, 1960 here in Vernon. He preceded her in death Jan 17, 1981. She was a member of the Ester Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Fargo Extension Homemakers Club.

Surviving are three sons, Robert F. Scott and Jimmy Ray Scott both of Vernon adn David Scott of Houston; a sister, Beulah Smith of Marshall; three brothers, L.S. Swanson of Iowa Park, R.C. Swanson of Corpus Christa and Luther Swanson of Houston; and five grandchildren.

The family may be contacted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott, 2603 Oak Lawn.

When Evie Marcella Swanson was born on December 28, 1907, in Elmore City, Oklahoma, her father, John, was 29, and her mother, Ida, was 22. She married Frank Scott and they had three children together. She then married Frank John Trinka on July 31, 1941. She died on March 16, 1981, in Temple, Texas, at the age of 73, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
