When Leonard Avon (Jerry) Bell was born on September 19, 1895, in Red River, Texas, his father, George, was 24 and his mother, Hattie, was 20. He had four children with Mattie Ethel Frost. He died on March 17, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 61.
