When Willie E Williams was born on January 17, 1891, in Mansfield, Texas, his father, John, was 23 and his mother, Rebecca, was 20. He married Mary Frances Goyne on January 24, 1915, in Throckmorton, Texas. They had five children in 10 years. He died on November 5, 1977, in Oklaunion, Texas, at the age of 86, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
