When Annie May Belle Lacy was born on April 20, 1907, in Collingsworth, Texas, her father, Edward, was 27, and her mother, Jessie, was 23. She married Claude Carlton Minyard (1902–1976) on February 3, 1934, in Vernon, Texas. They had one child during their marriage. She died having lived for more than 100 years. She died on May 5, 2008, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 101.
