VERNON - G. L. Proctor, 82, of Vernon died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Bryan, Texas.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home with the Rev. David Fox, officiating. Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Mr. Proctor was a retired cowboy and ranch foreman at W.T. Waggoner Ranch.
Survivors include son, Gerald Proctor of Bryan; sister, Bobbie Haney of Fort Worth; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

When Guy Leonard "GL" Proctor was born on May 29, 1924, in Bridgeport, Texas, his father, John, was 38 and his mother, Mary, was 29. He had four siblings. He died on July 19, 2006, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 82, and was buried there.
