When Milton Estes Walls was born on February 5, 1895, his father, John, was 20 and his mother, Martha, was 21. He married Grace Violet Bradshaw on August 30, 1920, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 24, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 66, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
