Funeral services for Peter Giesbrecht, 46, of Seminole were held Friday, December 9 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mennonite Evangelical Church with Rev. Bill Wiebe officiating. Interment followed in the Gaines County Cemetery under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. He passed away Monday December 5 in Yoakum County.
Peter was born July 24, 1970 in Mexico to Peter and Katharina Giesbrecht. Peter and Sara Hildebrand were married June 11, 2003 in Mexico. Peter farmed for several years, but was currently a building contractor. He had lived in Temple for six years before moving to Seminole five years ago. He was preceded in death by his father Peter Giesbrecht.
