Funeral services for Sue Jones, 75, of Seminole were conducted Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in the M.S. Doss Community Chapel. Interment followed in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Sue passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in Seminole.

Sue was born February 10, 1940 in Stamford to Johnny and Jessie David. Sue married Charlie Jones December 5, 1958 in Seagraves. She was a bookkeeper and a bus driver. She was preceded in death by a sister.

Sue is survived by her husband Charlie “Rabbit” Jones; two sons, Ricky C. Jones and his wife Jo, and Ron D. Jones and his wife Leann all Seminole; two daughters, Kim Bailey and her husband Randy of Midland and Susan Gomez of Hobbs; also two sisters Betty Johnson of Sulphur, Louisiana and Johnnie Cockerell of Stamford; along with 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jared Jones, Garret Jones, Kory Reyes, Shawn Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Everardo Montenegro V, Brandon Bailey, Brian Fields and Casey Fields. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters, Bethany Jones, Laci Rodriguez and Kegan Mitchell and great-grandchildren.
