Charlene Tabor Tate of Seminole passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Seminole on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. Graveside service will immediately follow at the South Cemetery.
She was born on May 18, 1952, in Lowell, Massachusetts to Ruth Tabor and Charles Barsamian. She eventually moved to Big Spring, Texas where she met William (Bill) Tate. They got married on October 31, 1972. They moved to Seminole in 1983. They had 3 children, Charles William Tabor, Tanya Elizabeth Daniels, and Melissa Mireille Tate. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, worked at the hospital in the Emergency room and also volunteered with Seminole EMS.
She was preceded in death by her son Charles, mother Ruth, husband William, 2 brothers, Fred and Johnny, a sister Jean, and a sister-in-law Betty. She is survived by her daughters Tanya and husband PJ, and Melissa of Seminole. She is also survived by sister Nancy of Massachusetts and adopted daughters Miranda and Daisy. She is also survived by a granddaughter Whitlee Tate of Seminole. She is survived by grandson Tristan Tate and Fiancé Kayla Crider of Seminole, a granddaughter Kaitlyn Daniels and Fiancé Cody Allen of Seminole. She is also survived by Great grandchildren Willian Tate and Skylar Tate. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to thank Calvert Home Health and Hospice.
