Funeral services for Maria Wolf, age 46 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Monday August 17, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Mennonite Evangelical Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Maria Wolf was born April 7, 1969, in Mexico to Agatha (Schmitt) and Isaac Peters. She married Henry Wolf October 9, 1988, in Mexico and they moved to Seminole in 1989. She was a member of Community Church in Seminole and was a principal of a private school in Seminole as well as a homemaker. Her home was always open to everyone and she always had kids over to visit; there was always plenty of food for everyone. She was very active in her church and taught Sunday School as well. Everything she did was always straight from her heart.
Maria Wolf passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dustin Wolf; and one sister.
Maria Wolf is survived by her husband, Henry Wolf of Seminole, Texas; one son, Eloy Wolf and wife Jessica of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Kinzey Wolf of Seminole, Texas, and Abigail Wolf of Seminole, Texas; four brothers, Jay Peters and wife Tina of Seminole, Texas, Abe Peters and wife Susie of Seminole, Texas, Isaak Peters and wife Annie of Seminole, Texas, and Pancho Peters and wife Maria of Mexico; seven sisters, Agatha Penner and husband David of Mexico, Tina Loewen and husband Henry of Seminole, Texas, Anna Enns and husband Jake of Canada, Lena Rempel and husband Ben of Canada, Elizabeth Enns and husband John of Canada, Nettie Thiessen and husband Cornelius of Seminole, Texas, and Susie Rempel and husband Peter of Canada.
