Dbl stone w/Edward B. Burton
Opal Burton, 90, formerly of Darrouzett, died Saturday, April 28, in Pampa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Darrouzett United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
Mrs. Burton was born Sept. 6, 1910, at Thomas, Okla., to H.W. and Edna (Roberts) Forney. They lived in Leedey, Okla., and Harmon, Okla., before moving to Darrouzett in 1938.
Survivors include a son, Joe Burton of Pampa; two daughters, Joyce Swope of Pampa and Zell Webster of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Maurice Forney of Thomas; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
