WALTER HILL
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Lipscomb Union Church, McLean, for Walter Lemmon Hill, 94, who died Monday in Shamrock Hospital. Burial will be in the Lipscomb Cemetery.
A retired rancher, he came from Lipscomb to McLean in 1948.
He is survived by his wife, Ella; two daughters, Cordie May Holt of Canadian and Mrs. Ruth Boles of McLean; four sons, Jessie Hill of Dallas; Walter Hill of St.Louis, Mo., Leonard Hill of Vacaville, Calif., and Charlie Hill of Dimmitt; four sisters, Mrs. Kina (sic) Porter of Tempe, Ariz., Mr. and (sic) Mrs. Lena Stephenson of Amarillo, Mrs. Ella Paine and Mrs. (sic) Mittie Hill, both of Booker; three brothers, W.R. Hill of Amarillo, Ben Hill of Canadian and Clint Hill of Colorado, 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
