LeRoy Edward Pietzsch, 87, passed away on July 25, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. He was a resident of Roscoe.
A private burial will take place on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Lindale Cemetery in Bowie, Texas.
Mr. Pietzsch was born in Nolan County on September 3, 1925. He married Glenna Mae Kilcrease on April 20, 1963 in Roscoe, TX. LeRoy was a member of First Salem Lutheran Church in Roscoe. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post #227 and VFW Post #2479.
He is survived by special loved ones, Terry and Sara Sansing of Lubbock, Tara and Drury Buxkemper of Lubbock, and Austin Sansing of Lubbock; brother-in-law-Frank Kilcrease of Lubbock; brother-R.D. Pietzsch of Amarillo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna, in 1999, his mother in 1998, his father in 1935, and one brother.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
