Grace Kennedy Barron, 89, of Seagraves passed away Saturday August 28, 2004, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews with Rev. Dale Dozier officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 PM at Seagraves Cemetery in Seagraves, Texas.
Mrs. Barron was born July 12, 1915, in Erath County. She married Odis Allen Kennedy on March 3, 1935, and he preceded her in death in 1967. She married Noel Barron, and he preceded her in death in 2003. She was a longtime resident of Seagraves. She loved to watch soap operas on television. She also loved to sew and make clothes for her grandchildren. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of the Rebeccas, and a member of the Church of Christ in Seagraves.
She is survived by: Daughter-Lucreda Howell of Hallsville, Texas; Two Sons- Larry Kennedy of Shreveport, LA and Randy Kennedy of Andrews; Brother- Dale Dozier of Andrews; Sister- Elva Stephenson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
