Eva Terry
May 27, 1883-July 26, 1974
Eva Terry Shahan was a pioneer teacher in Lipscomb County in the early 1900s. She and John Everett Shahan were married Aug 4, 1912. Four children were born to the couple in Lipscomb County, where Everett served as Tax Assessor and Sheriff-Tax Collector for about 15 years. After retirement, he served as Tax Assessor for the Lipscomb Independent School District until his death. Mrs. Shahan spent her final years in San Angelo, Texas to be near her family members.
