*Obituary for Vera Joyce
Vera Joyce Livesay, 63, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with James Gayle officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Seagraves Cemetery in Seagraves. Pallbearers include Lonnie Vaughn, Richard Vaughn, Jim Livesay, Mike Bryan, John Smith and William Martin.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Vera Joyce was born January 9, 1941, in Brownfield, Texas, to Dero Trigg and Nellie G. Cross. She married Lawernce R. Livesay in Wellman, Texas, on January 9, 1957. He preceded her in death in 1995. She worked as a cook for ECISD and was a Church of Christ member. She also enjoyed making quilts.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence Ray Livesay Jr. and wife, Diane, of Odessa; daughters, Vicky Vaughn and husband, Robert, of Odessa, Debbie Hazard of Odessa and Terri Vanzant of LaPort; brother, J.C. Triggs of Breckenridge; sister, Mary Lois Ratliff of Chandler, Ariz.; grandchildren, Lonnie Vaughn, William Vaughn, Amber Vanzant, Jennifer Vanzant, Steven Hazard, Richard Vaughn, Savanna Hazard, Tonya Vaughn, Jason Vanzant, Ashley Livesay, Brittney Livesay and Christopher Livesay; and great-grandchildren, Elijah Vaughn, Maunicio Vaughn, Isaac Vaughn and Persephene Vaughn.
Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
