Funeral services for Gene McBeth, age 90 of Seminole, Texas will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Joe Lapusan officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. McBeth was born in Tarrs, Pennsylvania February 8, 1928 to Irene (Dunn) and William McBeth. He married Stella Mae Clanton in Big Spring, Texas on May 8, 1948. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and worked as a custodian at the Seminole Independent School District for twenty years. He was a hardworking man, and enjoyed telling jokes.

Gene McBeth passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Stella in 2014, one son, and two grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Kim Brumley and husband Walter of La Porte, Texas and Amber Garcia and husband Joe of Frisco, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Linda McBeth of Sun City West, Arizona; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
