Funeral services for Pedro M. Gonzales, 77, of Seminole will be conducted Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Jim Frazelle officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home in Seminole. He passed away Saturday, August 19 in Seminole.
Pedro was born February 23, 1940 in Kenneda to Jose and Amelia Gonzales. Pedro and Silvestra Poncio were married September 16, 1963 in Victoria. He had lived in Seminole since 1965, worked as a farmhand for 40 years and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses in Denver City.
He was preceded in death by a son Ruben Gonzales.
Pedro is survived by: his wife, Silvestra Gonzales of Seminole;
Four daughters, Norma Linda Gonzales and Frances Gonzales both of Seminole, Genevieve Gonzales and Janie DeLeon and her husband, Reynaldo all of Denver City;
Four sisters, Mary Lou Almager, Marcy Barnes, Amy Hernandez, and Connie Molinar;
Two brothers, Albert Gonzales and Joe Gonzales;
One grandson, Steven DeLeon.
Family and friend’s visitation will be held Thursday, August 24 from 7-8 PM in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
