Funeral services for Benny T. Lee, age 71 of Seminole, Texas will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 at M.S. Doss Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee was born May 27, 1948 in Levelland, Texas to Roberta (Clark) and Henry Lee. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He married Mary Alice Fry February 24, 1990 in Hawley, Texas. He was a Baptist and worked as a truck driver. Benny always had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns play football. He loved his family dearly.
Benny Lee passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home in Seminole. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Lee; and one sister, Sylvia Smith. He is survived by his wife Mary Alice Lee of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Travis Lee of Sweetwater, Texas, and Jason Lee and wife Erin of Bryan, Texas; two daughters, Andrea Lee of Sweetwater, Texas, and Amanda Hand and husband Cory of Seminole, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
